Why didn't I think of this?!
Leah decided that she wanted to go on a cruise this year for her birthday in lieu of a party. Being that Tim and I LOVED our first experience on a cruise ship when we went last year for our anniversary, we jumped at the chance to take her. We're making it a family "thing" and going with my mom and stepdad, too! We leave out of Miami, and thankfully, live close enough to Miami to drive. However, there are many instances where we could have flown out of Miami cheaper than flying out of another (closer) airport but weren't able to, due to the fact that no one wants to drive that far to drop someone off at the airport (and we wouldn't ask!) and Miami airport parking AT the airport is EXPENSIVE, especially extended stay parking!!! Apparently, there is a solution for Miami airport parking out there that I never even knew about!!
I stumbled on Miami Airport Parking, an ingenious and simple site that offers discounted parking off airport premises. You go online, make your reservation, and they shuttle you (for free) to the terminal! They serve Miami, like I mentioned, but they also serve LA, Burbank, Fort Lauderdale, JFK, Laguardia, Newark, Tampa, San Francisco, San Diego, and many other airports. Next time I can't find a ride to the airport, I won't be quite as worried about finding parking at the airport (and you shouldn't be either now!!). With the option to pay discounted rates for parking, things just got a little cheaper.
